DNI Head John Ratcliffe: “Iran and Russia Have Taken Steps To Influence Public Opinion Relating To Our Elections”

The bombshell revelation of the SolarWinds attack last week overshadowed another related announcement by DNI head John Ratcliffe.

Ratcliffe’s announcement which can be viewed above does not talk about a cyberattack, but rather Iran’s and Russia’s use of voter data to influence American’s relationship to the elections. Of course, Iran has for years been running a much more overt campaign of influence by way of the NIAC (National Iranian American Council) founded by known regime supporter and apologist Trita Parsi. President Trump froze the NIAC out of the White House.

Parsi’s lobbying of American officials using regime talking points has been a known bane for anti-regime activists and those supportive of containing and eventually replacing the Mullahs.

Interestingly enough, Kamalah Harris was seen at an event alongside two former NIAC members. With Iran openly trying to sow confusion and mistrust in the US populace, by piggybacking on the SolarWinds hack or through the lobbying efforts of the NIAC, one has to wonder whether or not Biden’s team who is heavily supportive of returning to the Iran nuclear deal is already compromised.

After all, it was John Kerry who met with Javid Zarif, Iran’s FM after President Trump left the JCPOA, advising America’s adversary on how to best handle Trump. Kerry himself will be the “Climate Tzar” in the incoming Biden administration. Of course, his
