Israeli Diplomat Nails it
The way that Israeli diplomat Ron Dermer explained it here is so good. Where are all the ambassadors of the seemingly great nations that existed throughout history? There are none. Because those nations are gone. They have been eradicated from history. The enemies of the Jewish people throughout time are no longer. And yet, the tiny Jewish nation still exists. Israel has ambassadors. Because we did not disappear like our enemies did. As G-d’s people and eternal nation, we are here to stay. As long as the world exists, so do the Jewish people.
Dermer really gave it to Hamas and the enemies of the Jewish people. They will all be in the “dustbin of history.” They are garbage. They are nothing.
As we go through times of suffering and tragedy, it’s hard to remember that it will all be okay. It’s hard to remember that G-d will ultimately destroy our enemies and keep us alive. We must hold on to our faith in the One Above. We must remember that He chose us and loves us. Keep praying and keep believing. Remember that we are here, and as Ron Dermer said, the Babylonians, the Greeks, the Romans, and every other enemy have no ambassadors because they no longer exist. They are in the “dustbin of history.” And that is exactly where Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, and everyone who chooses to stand with these evil people are going to as well.
