News sources reported Netanyahu had called the leaders of the opposition parties in the Knesset for an urgent security related meeting against Iran. US sources indicate that the retaliation may occur as early as tonight.
Does this mean Israel will attack now? It is not clear. There is a lot of pressure from the Biden administration against Israel retaliating in a way that expands the current conflict to a regional one. Despite this, there is an acknowledgment that Israel must retaliate.
