Is the US Funding Russia in its War Against Ukraine?

Could it be that the United States is actually helping fund Russia while Russia invades and wreaks havoc on Ukraine? Perhaps it’s non-intentional. It’s absolutely frightening if it is indeed intentional. But what is perfectly clear to nearly everybody in the world – except for Joe Biden – is that if oil prices go through the roof, and Russia earns more than anybody else from high oil prices, then we need to do everything to bring down oil prices. But Joe Biden has clamped sanctions on Russia on everything except for oil.

The fuel, literally, that keeps the Russian army going in their brutal takeover of Ukraine, is the price of oil and gas. The solution to the problem was put in place by President Donald Trump, but reversed by President Biden. Energy independence is not just sound economic policy. It’s a national security imperative. But it’s now too late for millions of people from the Ukraine. The question is whether or not it’s too late to save lives in the Ukraine and to save the rest of the world from a massive cost of living price increase due to the effects of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

One thing is clear. In 2022 and 2024, Republican candidates will talk endlessly about bringing down the price of gas and goods in the supermarket. There are very few things that change people in America like a rapid economic decline. Make no mistake. America is in the midst of a downturn that will have massive repercussions and be discussed for decades.

But more than anything, the American electorate will not vote in a weak candidate like Joe Biden any time soon. The United States is learning the hard way that what goes on across the world directly impacts their supermarkets, their gas stations, and whether or not the draft will be reinstated in the United States. Isolationism is not a feasible option and neither are sanctions sufficient to intimidate brutal dictators. A steadfast and strong leader that implements economic policies that enhance American economic independence and security coupled with a willingness to use the American military are the two most important building blocks for insuring long-term security for the Western world.
