Iran & Lebanon Ceasefire Headlines Are a Distraction. Focus Here

Everyone is reacting to the headlines.
“Netanyahu agreed to negotiations with Lebanon.”Ceasefire talks. Diplomacy. Pressure.

And people are asking, should we be worried?

I’m not worried. Not even close.

Because let’s strip away the illusion and deal with reality.

There is no real Lebanese government.
Lebanon, as a functioning sovereign entity, has not existed for years. It has been hollowed out, overtaken from within by Hezbollah, an Iranian proxy that controls the decisions, influences the army, and dictates what happens on the ground.

So when we hear “Israel is negotiating with Lebanon,” what does that actually mean?
It means talking to a shell.
It means engaging with officials who, even if they sign an agreement, do not have the power to enforce it.

We’ve heard the same fiction from the Lebanese government for over a year now, “Hezbollah has been disarmed.”
Disarmed?
Missiles have been raining down on our communities. Positions have been entrenched. Terror infrastructure in every village along our border.

This is not disarmament. This is deception.

So no, the future of Israel’s security will not be decided in conference rooms or press releases with the Lebanese government.

It will be decided by what Israel does.
On the ground. With the IDF. With strength. With clarity. Without illusions.

Because this war cannot end with Hezbollah and its Shiite jihadi population still remaining in Southern Lebanon as a meaningful threat to our families in the north.

They must be removed, permanently.

And that requires something deeper than a deal.

It requires reshaping the reality of our northern border, once and for all.
The areas from which our enemies have been launching attacks for years cannot remain in their hands as launching pads for the next war.

There must be consequences for their aggression against us.
There must be a price.

As Donald Trump said clearly: “to the victors go the spoils.”

That is not just rhetoric. That is the language of deterrence in this region.

When aggression leads to loss of land, real loss, the equation changes.

And that is exactly what must happen.
Israel must emerge from this war with a new expanded border, liberating as much of Southern Lebanon as possible, that will also be physically defensible, unlike the current border. A border that protects Jewish lives. A border that reflects reality, not wishful thinking.

But here’s the deeper truth that cuts through all the noise.

Because while the headlines scream crisis, uncertainty, and chaos…

I just witnessed something that tells a completely different story.

I came from a brit milah in my family, born to one of my cousin’s.

A newborn Jewish child entering the covenant of our people, right here in the Land of Israel.

And I looked around.
Cousins. Aunts. Uncles. Family members who, just years ago were scattered across the United States. When my parents brought me and my siblings home to Israel in 1990, we had no family here.

Today?

Over 95% of my family lives here. In Israel.
Not by accident. Not by convenience. By destiny.

And then I bumped into someone I hadn’t seen in years, a colleague who made aliyah alone a decade ago. I remember the concerns back then. The loneliness. The question of how she would stay connected to her family abroad. Having to fly to the states every few years to see them.

And now?

Her entire family has followed her here. Parents. Siblings. All of them. Her whole family today lives in Israel!

Think about that.

While our enemies try to push us out.
While missiles are fired at our homes. While the world debates our legitimacy and bashes us.
We don’t care.
The Jewish people are coming home.
In waves. In families. In quiet, powerful decisions that are changing the reality of our nation.

That is not politics.
That is redemption.

That is something no enemy can stop.

So no. I am not worried about negotiations with Lebanon. Or a two week ceasefire with the Islamic regime of Iran.

Because whether leaders make the right moves or the wrong ones… whether deals are signed or broken…

The deeper process is unstoppable.
The Jewish people are returning to our land. We are rebuilding our nation. We are strengthening our presence. We are moving forward in history.

And yes, we still have work to do.
We must ensure our security. We must defeat those who seek to destroy us. We must build a reality where Jewish life is protected, flourishing and fulfilling our destiny as a nation back where we are supposed to be, in God’s holy land.

But don’t miss what is happening right in front of your eyes.
This is not a story of weakness.
This is a story of a people rising.
A people coming home. A people reclaiming its destiny. A people living through a process that generations only dreamed about.

No headline can change that.
No enemy can stop that.
We are not just surviving this moment.
We are being carried forward by it.

Am Yisrael Chai!!!
