(JNS) A picture circulating online on Tuesday shows IDF Golani Brigade soldiers displaying the Israeli flag inside Hamas’s police headquarters in the Gaza Strip.
The troops are also seen holding a flag of Golani’s 13th Battalion, after capturing the building from Palestinian terrorists.
It is unclear when the photo was taken.
On Monday, Israeli media shared a picture of IDF soldiers holding up Israeli flags inside Hamas’s parliament building in Gaza City.

On Monday night, Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said that Hamas had lost control of Gaza.
“There is no force of Hamas capable of stopping the IDF. The IDF is advancing to every point. … Terrorists are fleeing south. Civilians are looting Hamas bases. They have no confidence in the [Hamas] government,” said Gallant.
Israeli forces in Gaza are operating “according to plans and carry out the tasks accurately, lethally,” said the defense minister, adding that the IDF was “intensifying” its actions against Hamas’s extensive tunnel network.
“We work according to tasks. We don’t have a stopwatch. We have goals. We will achieve our goals,” said Gallant.
On Oct. 29, soldiers of the 52nd Battalion, part of the Armored Corps’ 401st Brigade, who were among the first to enter the northern Gaza Strip after the launch of the ground operation that weekend, raised the Israeli flag on one of the buildings there, according to video documentation shared online.
A soldier recording his comrades raising the flag can be heard in the video saying that three weeks after the Oct. 7 massacre of Israelis by Hamas terrorists, troops “lift the flag of Israel in the heart of Gaza, along the beach. We will not forget, we will not forgive and we will not stop until victory.”
It is believed to be the first time that an Israeli flag was raised in Gaza since the 2005 disengagement.
