After a long chase, ending with a gun battle in the streets of Ramallah, the IDF succeeded in eliminating the terrorist who was responsible for the terror attack on Sunday in the Shomron that killed two and seriously injured one.

According to Arab media, the IDF blew up the house in which the terrorist was hiding, and that 11 Arabs were injured as a result of exchanges of fire with the terrorist.

Ramallah Chase

The gunfight in the streets of Ramallah is extremely significant. According to the Oslo Accords “peace” process, the Israeli IDF is forbidden from entering areas under the jurisdiction of the Palestinian Authority. As the Palestinian Authority allowed, aided and supported terror against Israel for years, Israel understood that the only way we can protect Israelis is by having access to enter Palestinian Authority ruled areas and stop the terrorists ourselves. That change took place a number of years ago, to much condemnation from the world. Today, the world is silent. So seeing IDF forces in Ramallah eliminating terrorists is not something that we can take for granted. Much Jewish blood was spilled until Israel did the impossible and stood up the world to once again enter the Palestinian Authority-ruled areas.

People who still contemplate a “peace” agreement with the entity called the Palestinian Authority, ignore the fact that they are an enemy that not only can not be trusted to live in peace with us, but also do not stop the terror against us. The truth is even worse, they enable and support the terror against us, inciting children using school textbooks and tv programs to murder Jews and destroy Israel.

Those people who still believe that Israel should give away Jewish land in Judea & Samaria, expel Jews from their homes and destroy Jewish communities will bring security to Israel, are ignoring reality. Israel can only defend herself if we have an IDF presence that can enter every Arab center in Judea & Samaria. And the only way we can have an army presence with the ability to function is if we have civilian centers in those areas as well. The basic fact, ignored by so many, is that the Jewish communities in Judea & Samaria are an essential component to securing all of Israel.

Injured Soldier Improving

IDF soldier Alexander Dvorsky, wounded in double terror attack on Sunday, now in moderate condition.

On Wednesday morning, Petah Tikva’s Beilinson Hospital reported that Dvorsky’s condition is currently stable and moderate.

On Tuesday, hospital officials reported that Dvorsky was no longer in mortal danger and was fully conscious and breathing on his own.

Later on Tuesday, Israeli security forces succeeded in locating and eliminating terrorist Omar Abu Lila, 20, who wounded Dvorsky and Rabbi Ahiad Ettinger, 47, and murdered 19-year-old IDF soldier Gal Keidan.
