IDF troops from the Shayetet 13 naval commando took over the “Madleen” flotilla early this morning The “Madleen” was making its way to the shores of the Gaza Strip in hopes of breaking the maritime blockade imposed by Israel.
The Foreign Ministry said in a statement, “The ‘selfie yacht’ of the ‘celebrities’ is safely making its way to the shores of Israel. The passengers are expected to return to their home countries.”
“While Greta [Thunberg] and others attempted to stage a media provocation whose sole purpose was to gain publicity — and which included less than a single truckload of aid — more than 1,200 aid trucks have entered Gaza from Israel within the past two weeks, and in addition, the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation has distributed close to 11 million meals directly to civilians in Gaza,” it added.
“There are ways to deliver aid to the Gaza Strip — they do not involve Instagram selfies. The tiny amount of aid that was on the yacht and not consumed by the ‘celebrities’ will be transferred to Gaza through real humanitarian channels,” said the Foreign Ministry.
Despite the claims by the flotilla activists that they were “attacked” and “kidnapped” by the IDF, pictures prove that the IDF boarded the boat and not only detained them without violence, but also offered them sandwiches and water. The activists were brought to Ashdod and will be forced to watch the October 7th massacre footage before being sent back to their countries.
So will this stop future flotillas and the faux activists onboard them? Probably not, but what it does do is fully expose their self serving selfie style “protest” as a an empty attempt to claim some fame on the back of slandering Israel. Ultimately it shows the brain rot in large parts of the west that cannot tell the difference between good and evil.
