Eurovision in Israel
Eurovision has taken place in Israel two times – in 1979 and 1999. But when Israel hosted the contest then, the competition was held in Jerusalem, Israel’s eternal capital. This time, the Eurovision song contest will take place in Tel Aviv. It should really be in Jerusalem. But sadly, the world has turned the competition into something political. And because Jerusalem is not internationally recognized as part of the Jewish state, the contest is being held in Tel Aviv. What a shame.
Hamas Threatens Eurovision
Is it surprising that a terrorist organization has threatened Eurovision in Israel? Hamas is constantly threatening Israel. But Israel stands strong against terrorism. They are constantly facing terrorism! But Israelis do not let it stop their lives. They continue on, and they keep being strong.
The BDS (Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions) Movement is trying to ruin Eurovision. Hamas is trying to ruin Eurovision. But Israel will fight back. Israel will not give in to terrorists’ requests.
The Show Must Go On
There are no plans for Israel to cancel Eurovision. After all, the show must go on! So get ready, get excited, Eurovision 2019 is ready to rock!
