Mia Schem, (@mia_schem) a former Israeli hostage held captive by Hamas for 55 days, shared her miraculous experience of lighting a candle for Shabbat and the hope it brought her.
She said, “On Friday before Shabbat, I lit a small wax candle that I found. I told myself if it stays lit for an hour or more, it’s a sign that I’m going to get out, and the candle stayed lit!… Also, once on the radio, I heard 3 songs in a row, ‘Going home,’ ‘Pardons and forgives,’ and ‘I’m coming home,’ and I knew it was a sign from above that I’m going home soon. It was a clear sign to me. Many spiritual and unexplained things that happened to me while in captivity, that are crazy and unexplainable”
