Former VP Pence visited Hebron and the Tomb of the Forefathers & Mothers during his visit to Israel and received a wonderful and personal tour by International Spokesman for Hebron, Yishai Fleisher. What a great honor!
Former VP Pence in Hebron
Israel is definitely missing its great friends in the White House – friends like former President Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. Former VP Pence came to Hebron, to the Cave of the Patriarchs, to show his support and pray. The former vice president has shown his support for Israel time and time again. He has shown that he stands against UNESCO’s declaring of the Tomb as an exclusively Palestinian heritage site.
It is not a given, sadly, that all those in the White House support and have supported Israel in such a strong way. So Israel truly appreciates the strong friendship from Mike Pence.
Visiting Israel, former US vice president Mike Pence — touted as a potential future presidential contender — said Tuesday that a Republican-led America will once again pull out of any future Iran nuclear deal.
“I believe that the Republican Party will win control of the House and Senate in 2022 and I believe we’ll win back America and the White House in 2024,” Pence said in comments to the Israel Hayom newspaper.
“Anyone at the negotiating table should understand that come 2025, I believe we will have a Republican president, a Republican administration,” he continued. “And if the JCPOA [Iran deal] finds a way to be resurrected, we will be a part and a voice of a chorus of Americans with that new administration coming into office to end the JCPOA just as quickly as we ended it under the Trump-Pence administration.”
Great honor for @KarenPence and I to travel to Hebron today to visit the Tomb of the Patriarchs and Matriarchs at the Cave of Machpelah that Abraham bought to bury Sarah nearly 4,000 years ago. pic.twitter.com/3Krdda3SUl— Mike Pence (@Mike_Pence) March 9, 2022
