What a great interview with the former US Ambassador to Israel, David Friedman. He is clear, honest, and right. As he said, “Israel is not the problem in the Middle East; Israel is the solution in the Middle East.” More people and countries are beginning to recognize that.
The hope is that the Biden administration will continue in the direction of bringing more peace to the Middle East. Trump did something unprecedented. He created a Middle East that no one thought could be possible. There is no reason that any administration should want to backtrack and destroy what Trump has done. The Abraham Accords are good for Israel, Arab countries, and the stability of the Middle East.
Another thing that is quite interesting is the way that Friedman puts it in Israel’s hands to do what is best for itself. He believes that no matter which administration is in office, Israel needs to pick its direction and stick to it. Israel needs to do what is best for its country and its people – no matter which president is heading the US.
