Condoleeza Rice is a product of growing up in the segregated South. But she rose to become the provost of one of the most prestigious Universities in America, Stanford, and then was tapped by George W. Bush to be in his cabinet. She ultimately served as Secretary of State of the United States, and there are even some who toss her name around as a potential President or Vice President.

She is the perfect person to comment on issues such as critical race theory. And when she says that the norms have spun out of control into mindsets that focus on racism in all interactions between people. This idea is that everything is first judged through the prism of racism.

Actually, the entire idea of critical race theory is racist – it is racist against non-black people. But more importantly, it is simply wrong and anachronistic. Racism can be found anywhere is what critical race theory is all about. The basic idea of American equality is thrown out the window in order to focus on race issues. This is a dangerous academic theory. One of the good things about this video is that it explains the small kernel of truth within critical race theory, and then properly explains that the small amount of truth has been exaggerated immensely. Additionally, it rejects any connection between critical race theory and the civil rights movement. Critical Race Theory does not support the actions of the civil rights movement – it rejects it.
