CNN Commentator Calls for the Destruction of Israel at the United Nations

CNN commentator and Temple University Professor Lamont Hill explicitly called for the destruction of Israel, even though he denies that intent. However, when one repeats the mantra “from the River to the Sea Palestine should be free” there is only one intent, the intent that there be no more Israel. So it seems pretty clear that his intent is the destruction of Israel and none of his slick backtalk will help him escape this blatant stance of Jew hatred. People are now calling upon CNN to stop calling up Lamont Hill to be a regular commentator. UPDATE: CNN HAS FIRED HIM!

UN Session

Marc Lamont Hill, CNN commentator and Temple University professor, was invited by the United Nations to speak at a special session “U.N. Day of Solidarity with the Palestinian People.” After he finished his speech saying “from the river to the sea Palestine should be free the reaction he received from the UN audience was applause. Yes, the members the international body whose purpose is to look after the human rights of all citizens were applauding the destruction of Israel.

Lamont Hill also said that the international community should boycott Israel and allow palestinians more space to engage in violence against the Jewish state, arguing that violence was also employed in the struggles of African Americans.

It seems Lamont Hill is ignoring the fact that whereas African Americans were struggling against slavery, Arabs are “stuggling” against the indigenous Jewish poplution who have improved life tremendously for the Arabs who live across Israel, and in Judea & Samaria and Gaza. The infant mortality rate plummeted after Israel liberated those areas and provided health services to the Arab residents. This is also ignoring the facts that there never was a state or people called “palestine” or “palestinians”, that it was Arab countries who fought against Israel in every war, never a group called “palestinians”, that those Arabs who became refugees lost their homes due to two wars that the Arab Muslim countries initiated against Israel to destroy her and that the PLO was created to “struggle” against the so-called “occupation” in 1964, when Jordan occupied Judea & Samaria and Egypt occupied Gaza!

No, Lamont Hill, there is no comparison at all between the “struggle” to destroy Israel in the name of an invented national identity called “palestine” and the African American struggle against slavery!

Someone has to remind Lamont Hill that calling out Israel for destruction, while ignoring the human rights abuses of other horrendous countries is a clear double standard that highlights his Jew hatred. It’s not about Israel, it’s about Lamont Hill’s hatred towards Jews and he takes it out on the Jewish State of Israel.

Lamont Hill’s Response

In response to the backlash he received to his statement in the UN Lamont Hill wrote a tweet saying that “I believe in a single secular democratic state for everyone. This is the only way that historic Palestine will be free.”

Once again, he just exposes how stupid he is. All Arabs have a right to vote! Arab Israelis vote in Israeli elections, while Arabs in Judea, Samaria and Gaza vote for the Palestinian Authority, when they allow elections!

In addition, his solution still rejects the existence of Israel as a Jewish homeland with the ability to defend itself, and cede control over to terrorist groups that have been seeking Jewish extermination.

For someone who cares about the black struggle, he sure comes out looking stupid. Considering the black struggle against slavery was inspired by the Jewish struggle against slavery back in ancient Egypt so that the Tribes of Israel could leave Egypt and live in their homeland Israel!

Lamont Hill Grew Up Being Anti-Israel

Lamont Hill has been anti-Israel for years. In the video below he says that after a trip to “palestine” “I wanted to be part of it (the resistence). I wanted to be a committed ally.” He clearly supports the struggle to destroy Israel.

His partner, in that same panel discussion, exposes some more of their lunacy. He says that looking at the “palestinian struggle” you see “the dignity of rebellion and revolt and once you look at them it’s hard to look away”.

Too bad both Lamont Hill and his partner in the video are unable to differentiate that the true struggle of black Americans against slavery is more similar to the struggle of the Jewish people to once again be free to be soveriegn in their ancestral homeland. Supporting a genocidal struggle to destroy the soveriegn nation state of the Jewish people does not jive with their “struggle”, it is the antithesis of that struggle.

Lamont Hill’s Full Speech at the UN

“Contrary to western mythology, black resistance to American apartheid did not come purely through Ghandi and nonviolence,” Hill said (see video below.) “Rather, slave revolts and self-defense and tactics otherwise divergent from Dr. King or Mahatma Gandhi were equally important to preserving safety and attaining freedom. If we are to operate in true solidarity with the Palestinian people, we must allow the Palestinian people the same range of opportunity and political possibility. If we are standing in solidarity with the Palestinian people, we must recognize the right of an occupied people to defend itself. We must prioritize peace, but we must not romanticize or fetishize it. We must advocate and promote nonviolence at every opportunity, but we cannot endorse a narrow politics of respectability that shames Palestinians for resisting, for refusing to do nothing in the face of state violence and ethnic cleansing.”

“Justice requires a free Palestine from the river to the sea,” Hill thunderously concluded.
