On the Chinese Communist Party’s 100th anniversary Chinese President Xi Jinping gave a confrontational speech, where he threatened the West and vowed to prevent Taiwan from gaining independence.

“Anyone who attempts to bully China will face broken heads and bloodshed in front of the great wall of the 1.4 billion Chinese People,” President Xi Jinping said in the speech. In the old days this would simply pass for saber rattling at the Independence Day celebrations, but now it could be much more than that.

Through its control of global markets, influential investments in media companies, and its competitive military China has increasingly taken over key sectors around the world. Jinping has no interest in the letting the Western military position itself on and around Taiwan and sees the latest increase in British forces as a direct threat.

Besides Britain, the USA and Japan has upped their training and participated in joint war games in hopes of deterring Chinese aggression and expansion. Despite this, the Chinese Communist Party continues to gain in strength preparing to launch an attack on Taiwan and reunify the island with the Chinese mainland.

The US and other Western countries already view Taiwan as independent, its security a top priority.

For Israel, it has been torn between the needs of the US and China as the latter is fast becoming a serious trading partner.
