The US government thought that by simply placing oil and gas sanctions on Russia, the war would end. They guessed wrong and by overplaying their hand early in the conflict, the West is out of economic ammunition, while the blowback against the policies continue.
Gas and oil are rising higher than ever. Food costs are skyrocketing, and the war in Ukraine sees no end in sight. Biden’s mistaken policies and hubris are not only destroying America, but they are harming its allies.
Perhaps the worst scenario is happening. Instead isolating Russia, the BRICS countries are sticking with Putin and putting their foot down against the West.
