TO THE CHURCH OF AMERICA: A PLEA FROM A JEW

My Christian brothers and sisters,

I am asking you to listen to me.

Not as a politician.

Not as the founder of JEXIT.

But as a Jew who loves America and believes deeply in the values that Christians and Jews have shared for thousands of years.

Where is the Church?

America was not built on the rejection of God.

Our nation was built upon a moral foundation shaped by Judeo-Christian principles: the dignity of human life, individual responsibility, freedom of conscience, the rule of law, and the belief that there is such a thing as good and evil.

That foundation matters.

And today, I am asking the Church of America to wake up.

I am not asking you to hate Muslims.

I am asking you to understand the difference between a Muslim individual and Islamism as a political ideology.

And I am asking you to recognize something else that is incredibly important:

The Democrat Party of today is not the Democrat Party of our parents and grandparents.

JEXIT exists because we believe the party has been increasingly hijacked and transformed by forces that many traditional Democrats would never have recognized, including elements of Marxist revolutionary ideology and Islamist political movements.

That is the red/green alliance we have been warning about.

You can disagree with Republicans on taxes, healthcare, education or any number of domestic issues and still be a patriotic American.

But we have reached a point where we must ask a much bigger question:

What happens when political movements begin aligning themselves with ideologies that reject the very values that hold our civilization together?

And Jews are once again finding ourselves on the front lines.

We know what happens when hatred is normalized.

We know what happens when extremists are excused.

We know what happens when people are told they are imagining the danger.

And we know what happens when good people remain silent.

October 7 should have been a wake-up call to the entire Western world.

It should have reminded us that antisemitism doesn’t suddenly appear overnight. It grows when hatred is tolerated, when propaganda goes unchallenged, when extremists are empowered and when decent people decide that someone else’s problem is not their problem.

So I am pleading with the Church:

Don’t wait until it reaches your doorstep.

Don’t wait until Christians are the target.

Don’t wait until the freedoms you assumed would always be there are no longer guaranteed.

Stand with the Jews.

Stand with Israel.

Stand against antisemitism.

Stand against terrorism.

Stand against political extremism.

Stand for the Constitution.

Stand for freedom.

And stand for the Judeo-Christian values that helped make America the greatest nation on earth.

We Jews don’t need Christians to fight our battles for us.

We need you to stand beside us.

Because this isn’t ultimately about Jews versus Muslims.

It isn’t simply Democrats versus Republicans.

It is about whether we will preserve a civilization built upon freedom, faith, human dignity and the rule of law.

And I believe the Church has a voice that America desperately needs to hear.

So, my Christian brothers and sisters, I am asking you from the bottom of my heart:

We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim.
— Elie Wiesel

Please don’t sit this one out.

Wake up.

Speak up.

Stand up.

Stand with us.

Because when you stand with the Jewish people, you are not only standing with us.

You are standing for the America we both love.
