WhatsappToo much empathy? Yes. That is the idea behind Gad Saad’s powerful book that explains how hundreds of thousands of people have so many parasitic ideas and rally proudly to bring down so much of Western civilization.
The changes in the cultural values that are going on across much of the Western world are truly shocking. Killers are afforded empathy, terrorists are afforded empathy, and basically justification of nearly every vice and terrible deed finds empathy among the progressive left.
Gad Saad is that rare personality who knows how to verbalize and break down the craziness around the world we see that is dragging down so much of the youth who protest to support terrorists. He explains that the young revolutionaries that are proud to be communist and support Arab terrorists are not only driven by envy, but also through confused empathy that is illogical, but at least has some basis – even if it is twisted.
When ethics are reduced to unlimited empathy, reasonableness gets thrown out and minds become closed to anything that does not fit into the narrow box of radical empathy with terrible people. But hopefully some reasonable people will awaken from their confusion due to Gad’s book.
