And yet they quote one line and act like they are experts. Experts. Can you believe that? It’s ridiculous. Ignorant. That’s it.
The Talmud wasn’t written to attack anyone. It wasn’t written to hurt. It was written so Jews could survive. Stay faithful. Live ethically. In a world that often wanted to erase us. And still, some people twist it. They say Israel has no right to exist. They say Jews are bad. The same hatred repackaged as “activism” or “criticism.” Don’t fall for it. This is antisemitism. Plain and simple.
It gets worse. Some will take passages about circumcision or debates in the Talmud and turn them into grotesque lies. They claim Jews harm children. Commit immoral acts. Are pedophiles. Completely false. Utterly disgusting. They strip the passages of context, twist lessons meant to teach ethics, and spread hate like wildfire. Social media, influencers, journalists, they amplify these lies because it gets clicks, followers, money, fame. They don’t care about truth. They don’t care who gets hurt. They care about attention.
Judaism is the opposite. Judaism is light. Observant communities don’t just talk ethics. They live it. They help. They teach. They inspire. They go out and make the world better every single day. That’s what the Talmud is for. Teaching. Guiding. Preserving life. Not attacking anyone.
This is personal. I’ve seen these attacks myself. People pretending to be authorities, spreading lies they don’t even understand. All for attention. I get furious. This is my faith. My people. My history. Anti-Zionism that twists Jewish texts is antisemitism. Period. We have to call it out. Every time.
This isn’t new. Jews have been attacked for existing. For thriving. For keeping our traditions alive. People tried to erase us for centuries. Anti-Zionism today is the same hatred in a new wrapper. Weaponizing scholarship. Twisting texts. Spreading lies online. Wrapped in politics or “human rights.” Same hatred underneath.
The truth is the opposite of hate. Judaism survived because it’s about community, morality, and light. The Talmud wasn’t written to destroy. It was written to teach, guide, preserve life. Communities bring it to life today… teaching, helping, spreading goodness. That’s what we should focus on, not cherry-picked quotes used to attack us.
Bottom line. You cannot weaponize what you haven’t studied. Hundreds of pages of nuanced debate cannot become a tool for hate. Anti-Zionism that distorts Jewish texts is antisemitism. Jews. Israel. Our faith. It’s under attack because we exist. We have to call it out. Loud. Proud. Unapologetic.
