A Beautiful Story from Hebron
What do fireworks, a Bat-Mitzvah, Arabs, and Hebron have in common? You gotta love this story. Yes, Hebron can be filled with conflict and tension. But there are times where it is filled with stories of love and peace; stories of coexistence.
You won’t really hear about these stories in the mainstream media. The media is responsible for perpetuating more conflict. They do not know the full story, nor do they understand. They just don’t get it. And yet, they will share things that make Hebron seem like a complete disaster all the time. But that is not the case.
Jews want peace. They don’t want conflict. The nature of the Jewish people is not evil. They would be happy to live peacefully with the Arabs. When the Arabs decide they will live in peace, there will be no more terror or war. There are some Arabs who already have decided they want to live in peace. And it is a story like the one in this video that reminds us of that.
Peace will come one day. We have to pray for it and we have to do our part in this world to help bring it about. But it will come. And we must be grateful for those moments that give a glimpse of what it will be like when there is no more war or conflict.
