Abdul El-Sayed is a hardcore antisemite. You can’t deny that. He can’t deny that. So even if he “distances” himself from this disgusting antisemitic ad, and even if he himself might not have created it, it obviously represents him and his beliefs. He is an enemy to the Jewish people and to the Jewish state. And it’s disturbing that he is running for the US Senate.
CNN often gets it wrong—VERY wrong. They have many commentators who are antisemitic themselves and hate Israel. But there are certain clips and certain hosts that are able to see the truth and speak it. Van Jones is one of those political commentators on CNN who will call out antisemitism like this. And he said something very true and very powerful that many in the US and worldwide ignore.
Van Jones said, “When that happens, when you start getting people riled up—and you’ve seen this all through the last century—against Jews and blaming Jews for all your problems, you’re headed down a dark pathway.” Exactly this! People who hate on the Jews and try to get rid of them end up being destroyed themselves. Societies plagued with antisemitism will ultimately fall. Van Jones can see that. It’s time for others to wake up.
