Saudi Arabia is not scared of the United States of America. Due to the Democrat decision to give up on achieving energy independence, based on climate change concerns, Saudi Arabia is not worried about US pressure on them. The US is way too dependent on Saudi Arabia. So, pressure simply doesn’t work, where there is no leverage.
The oil, gas, and solar energy is all needed by Americans. But in order to focus on clean energy, America has largely gave away it’s independence on such a basic need – oil, gas, and any other way of receiving energy. Cars, air conditioners, electricity – these are not things that people can live without. It is time for Americans to understand that questionable causes such as climate change concerns are not sufficient to make the masses of the world pay double what they used to pay for driving their car and way more every time they walk into a grocery store.
Joe Biden’s inability to inspire respect across the world has led to Putin deciding that the timing was excellent for a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. China is threatening Taiwan and the other threatening countries are emboldened by the fecklessness of the Biden administration that was seen in the Afghanistan withdrawal.
A total reset is needed on the foreign stage. But more than anything, Americans are hurting financially and want leadership that will not put their welfare behind questionable priorities like climate change.
