Over the last few days Shiite Militias in Iraq who are controlled by Iran as well as forces in Syria attacked US troops in those countries in what seems to be Iran’s plan to expand the current war in Israel to other parts of the Middle East.
Nearly 20 hours ago the Prime Minister of Iraq warned that the Gaza conflict may spread regionally and threaten energy supplies. In the last few days alone Shiite Militias attacked American bases in Iraq. Three days ago a massive barrage hit Victory Base in Baghdad. This is all after the Iranian Foreign Minister visited Iraq.
Besides there have been drone attacks on American bases in Syria and Kurdistan.
Perhaps the biggest escalation has been fro m the Houthis in Yemen who attempted fire long range missiles at Israel. These were shot down by the American military. While Biden believes he can stop a regional war – however, the war has arrivecx.
