Kamala Harris is not over the hill like Joe Biden. She is a rather young woman with relatively little political experience, and nearly no foreign policy experience. But she has already formulated political opinions about Israel that make it clear where she stands. She is concerned first and foremost with the “innocent” Arab children that the Israeli Army is killing. OK – that says it all. She is wrong – dead wrong – about who is responsible for all of the Arabs that are killed in Gaza. Hamas is responsible for absolutely every single child that is killed in Gaza – not Israel. FDR and Churchill were not responsible for killing German children in World War II. Hitler was. Yes – it is the same thing – just without swastikas.
Kamala Harris is clearly not a student of history. Or, she has learned the wrong lessons of history. Dictators like Putin are not stopped through negotiation. They only understand force and threats that are backed up with genuine willingness to act. Biden’s display of weakness in Afghanistan instigated Putin to attack while American leadership was asleep at the wheel, and Iran saw a window of opportunity to attack Israel via it’s proxies. China may still invade Taiwan or at least take an even more aggressive stand in the Southeast.
Kamala Harris is both the darling of progressives and an ambitious politician who knows she needs Michigan to win the election against Donald Trump. She openly spoke out and praised Black Lives Matter protesters, meaning, she praised violent rioting on American streets. Any attempt to whitewash Black Lives Matter as a protest movement and not a riotous and violent movement is a lie. Additionally, she is keenly aware that the Democrat Party has an image problem among a small electorate, the Arab Americans. But in Michigan, the pr-Arab vote could very well be the difference between victory or defeat. So Harris knows that she must kowtow to those who are anti-Israel by constantly focusing on Arab children that are killed in Hamas’ war against Israel.
Harris has never been one to speak about principles or stand on principle. She is a true lightweight going up against a bully who proved in his 1st term of Presidency that he was up to the job, despite his own lack of political experience. Trump’s faults turn every Democrat contender into a viable candidate, as his opponent automatically starts with 45% of the vote. That is why this election is certainly not going to be a walk in the park for the Republicans.
Will Kamala Harris and her running mate be able to turn out the suburban women vote more than Donald Trump and JD Vance are able to turn out the rust belt vote in rural counties? That will probably be the key determining factor of the election. Harris should stop focusing on Michigan and focus on larger swaths of voters, such as suburban women, and the black vote. She has a better chance of winning the election via the suburbs of Philadelphia, Detroit, Pittsburgh and Atlanta than via a few neighborhoods in the area of Flint, Michigan.
If Harris sticks with her true progressive tendencies and satsfies the likes of Bernie Sanders, Gretchen Whitmer, and Rashida Tlaib, she may win Michigan. But she’ll lose every other battleground State in the rust-belt. Harris will be taken very seriously after she stands her ground in a debate with Donald Trump. She certainly will do better than Biden even if she loses the debate, and will receive a glowing speech from Barack and Michelle Obama at the Democrat convention. But she will have to convince more women to come out and vote for her than Hillary Clinton succeeded in convincing. That will be her #1 challenge.
