There is a feeling in the air that something amazing is happening on the Temple Mount. First there were the increasing throngs of visitors and now caught on video even Israeli police are praying on the Temple Mount.
Israeli courts have long held that Jews and other non-muslims have religious freedom to openly pray on the Temple Mount, but only in the last months and especially now are more and more people praying on the Temple Mount.
All of this is despite the strict opposition of the Muslim Brotherhood party in the Bennett-Abbas government. In fact, the very opposition of the party appears to have spurred greater interest in the broader issue among the Israeli public.
The Israeli public is in fact supportive of Jewish prayer rights on the Temple Mount and that support is on the upswing.
