Over the last 24 hours, IDF, ISA and Israel Border Police forces have operated on precise ISA intelligence to thwart terrorism and remove threats in the Jenin Camp and the city of Jenin.
IDF soldiers located and neutralized an explosives manufacturing facility containing dozens of pipe bombs, gas tanks, and remotely operated weapons. The entrance to the facility was booby-trapped with an explosive device, which was neutralized by the forces. This marks the fourth such facility located and neutralized by IDF soldiers in the Jenin area.
Simultaneously, IDF soldiers located and dismantled two operational situation rooms, in which a weapons shaft was found with a shotgun, 1,400 bullets and large quantities of terror funds inside.
IDF soldiers in the town of Burqin adjacent to the city of Jenin located and seized a significant number of weapons and terror funds. In total, 13 suspects were apprehended and transferred to security forces for further questioning.
