Trump’s VP Pick Convinced Everyone to Support Israel in This Bombshell Speech

What is JD Vance’s angle on supporting Israel? Well, it may not be your typical pro-Israel speech by a Senator or Congressman. It is a very clear-headed way of viewing Israel as a valuable ally. It is not as much based on Israel’s moral argument for being a beacon of light in a sea of darkness. He doesn’t think about things like that. 

J.D. Vance is very much against supporting aid to Ukraine and the rest of Eastern Europe. He thinks that allies need to defend themselves, “pay their share,” and police their own neighborhoods with US support, but not provide US boots on the ground.  That leads him to his conclusion that America should spend less time and resources on Ukraine. He wants to focus on East Asia which he rightly sees as the most critical strategic threat to the United States as China expands its tentacles towards Taiwan and Australia. 

So, since he sees Israel as being a self-reliant country, that works for him in seeing Israel as a critical and effective ally of the United States. But he is fundamentally more of a general isolationist who believes in supporting Israel so that America does not need to get involved in military matters in the Middle East. It is reasonable, quite hard-nosed, and will resonate with much of the American public from both sides of the aisles of Congress.  

However, the rest of Vance’s argument serves as a very eloquent response to the weak argument that “you can’t defeat Hamas – it’s an ideology.” This claim is patently false. German Naziism during World War II is an ideology, and it was indeed defeated. Of course, there are still Nazis in the world. But Naziism is no longer in power anywhere in the world, has no army, and is not a dominant ideology anywhere in Europe. 

That is all as long as the ascendant Islam-Nazi-like ideology is defeated in the Middle East and around the world. Defeated means largely disarmed and brought to a point of powerlessness. That is a fight that he believes in supporting and Israel is presently fighting. It will sure be wonderful to have supporters like Vance pushing this agenda as Israel continues to battle evil in its midst.
