The music video that will touch your heart like only the Land of Israel can

by Chaya Cikk

Every Jew has a special place in their heart for the Land of Israel. There is a connection that some might not be able to explain. Above all, our hearts yearn for the land of Israel all day every day.

Israel in your Heart

The Temple that stood in Jerusalem on Temple Mount was destroyed almost 2000 years ago. Since then the Jews were exiled from the land. In 1948, against all odds, the State of Israel was declared. Slowly the Jewish People started to return home.

Just by walking the streets of Jerusalem you can see that Jews have come from all four corners of the globe. It is certainly the ingathering of the exiles. Above all, it fulfills the prophecy mentioned in the book of Ezekiel. Chapter 20:41-42 “With a pleasing savor I shall accept you when I take you out of the nations, and I shall gather you from the lands in which you were scattered, and I shall be hallowed through you before the eyes of the nations. And you will know that I am the Lord when I bring you to the land of Israel, to the land that I lifted My hand to give to your forefathers.”

Considering all the hardships that Israel faces. Whether it be terror attacks from its neighbors or trouble from the United Nations. Nonetheless, there are still many people coming home to the land of Israel.

Finally, I should add having grown up abroad, Israel was a place that was close to my heart. A place I yearned to be. We were always taught to love Israel. Additionally, this was the land that God had promised and this was the land we should live in.

Left it all to be with you,
Distant dreams have now come true,
Walked the streets of legends told,
We’ve come home x3
And well never stand alone, after 2000 years, we are home
Not a native of this land
Bring me up and take my hand
Sapphire seas and golden sand
A place called home
We’ve come home
To a land of our own, after 2000 years we are home
This is my native land
I walked on my land
A future Israeli, this is my home
We’ve come home
And well never stand alone, after 2000 years we are home
We’ve come home
To a land of our own, after 2000 years we are home

Most importantly I’ve come home! Have you?
