WhatsappHassan Nasrallah is expected to give a speech today at an undisclosed location in Lebanon about the beeper attacks two days ago and the walkie talkie attacks yesterday which has effectively crippled Hezbollah’s chain of command and communications network.
The above parody by Canary Mission is just that a parody, but Nasrallah must know he is in trouble. This does not mean the war is over or the IDF will have an easy time in Lebanon, but what it does mean is that Hezbollah is finally on the defensive and that is a good thing.
Despite the official casualty numbers from the Lebanese government, intelligence from the field indicate that the damage was far more widespread and crippling than being let on. Nasrallah has only one choice left – retreat above the Litani or fight a real war against Israel.
While Nasrallah’s speech will probably be more “fire and brimstone” than what Canary Mission put together – Nasrallah should think twice before committing himself to fight Israel in a head to head war - especially now that many of his top officers have one less limb than before.
