Justin Trudeau, right above the American border, is shutting down freedom of speech in Canada. “Unlawful activity of demonstrations.” These are the new words that are being used by those in charge of enforcing the law in the Democratic country called Canada. Yes, demonstrations are now being termed as “unlawful.”

Canada is in a major slide towards tyranny – all because of what Canada’s leadership has called an “emergency.” The leadership of Canada calls one thing an emergency – coronavirus. But nothing else is considered important – not the economic emergency that Canada is dealing with, nor the emotional health of millions of Canadians who are being shut down by the draconian laws that limit freedom of expression, movement, and even religion.

Justin Trudeau is driven by one policy – divide and conquer. He is fully aware that he is infuriating his opposition. But they didn’t vote for him anyway, and he needs to galvanize his base for the next election. The vaccine mandate against truckers that Prime Minister Trudeau implemented in Canada transpired at the same time that the rest of the world was going back to normal and removing restrictions. Trudeau has succeeded in bringing out the struggle for freedom that Canadians deeply care about. Even bank accounts in Canada are under attack by the government of Canada, and that scares the living daylights out of millions of people.

Anyone in America who thinks that these kinds of measures would not go south of the border should think twice. The power grab that socialist-oriented leaders in the West are involved in is not just a coincidence that has occurred during the coronavirus pandemic. It is the norm for all those who see the solutions to so many societal problems via the expansion of federal government, and not through the expansion of freedoms.
