Ivanka Trump Opens Up About Not Responding to Hatred
This is truly commendable. Donald Trump’s daughter Ivanka Trump is married to Jared Kushner. She converted to Judaism, and the values she spoke about here are part of Judaism’s values. The fact that she is able to stick by her values as a person in the spotlight and as a politician is remarkable. Many politicians have a hard time staying true to themselves and their morals when things get heated. They just can’t hold themselves back and control what they say and do.
If she can be so strong in her desire to hold by what she values, we all should be able to as well. Most of us are not in the spotlight on a constant basis the way Ivanka is. And it’s noteworthy that she can publicly speak about the concept in Judaism called Lashon Hara and the damage it can do to people. She is definitely unique.
Whether or not Donald Trump is your favorite person in the world or your least favorite person, everyone should be able to admit that Ivanka’s words are praiseworthy.
