WhatsappThere are people in the world who – for whatever reason – have become YouTube stars. A few years ago, they were no-names. But in a matter of a few years, they have built up a major following. All it takes today is some start up money, a video camera and some eye-catching messages and a person can assemble thousands of followers on YouTube. One of these start-ups is a young woman who is active in creating content that will lure innocent people into the far-right without them realizing it. She goes by the name philosophicat. In this video, she is outed by the Israel Advocacy Movement.
The point is not to silence her. The point is to expose the hidden racism that she really has not been able to hide that well. Holocaust deniers and their supporters lurk out there and need to be outed.
There are those who claim that the best thing is to silence these people. But, the more one thinks about it, the better that the sun of day is to combating the opinions of these Holocaust revisionists and their supporters. The Israel Advocacy Movement has done an excellent job at exposing the haters. Beware. What often looks harmless is often very dangerous.
