Not only did he share many positive things about Israel that the media will never tell you, but he also made a point to say that he truly believes the third Temple will please G-d be rebuilt in a few years. His faith in the coming of the redemption is palpable. Do the rest of us share that same faith and yearning?
We might pray for the coming of the third and final Temple. But do we truly believe it can come so soon? Or it’s all just lip service? There are a few takeaway messages from Fleisher’s speech. But definitely one of the most important ones was thrown in at the end. We must truly believe the redemption can come tomorrow—or even today. Right now.
There is a Midrash on the book of Esther 4:17 that says, “G-d’s salvation can come in the blink of an eye.” It can come quickly.
