This video is indeed surprising and a bit difficult to digest. Right after President Trump has proven to be an indispensable leader as President of the United States to the State of Israel via unprecedented support, it may seem very odd to reach the conclusion that Israel must prepare for a world when it will need to go it alone.
But one must always remember that between the two Trump administrations, Israel had to deal with Joe Biden or whoever was calling the shots. And before President Trump, Barack Obama was the most openly hostile President to Israel since Israel’s founding. The future is filled with question marks and Israel cannot rely on its most reliable ally – especially as antisemitism is growing by leaps and bounds in the Democrat Party and the far right of the Republican Party.
