The Claims of the “Palestinian” People
This video touches upon every question about Israel and all the “controversy” of “Palestine.” What’s the truth? For anyone who cares, this video did a perfect job explaining history and the facts. Palestine? A variation of the name that the Romans attached to Judea to take away any Jewish sound to the area that was…Jewish. Oh, and the Philistines were of Greek origin. They have no connection to today’s “Palestinian” people which only became a “nation” a few decades ago.
Aside from all the history and facts, G-d has made it clear throughout history that the land flourishes and responds to the Jewish people building it up. Mark Twain’s comments made that clear in his work Innocents Abroad in the later part of the 1800s. What Twain witnessed was what the land looked like without the nation of Israel returning in large numbers and building up the land:
“[a] desolate country whose soil is rich enough, but is given over wholly to weeds-a silent mournful expanse….A desolation is here that not even imagination can grace with the pomp of life and action….We never saw a human being on the whole route….There was hardly a tree or a shrub anywhere. Even the olive and the cactus, those fast friends of the worthless soil, had almost deserted the country.”
And what about today? You would have no idea Twain was talking about Israel because it is now such a flourishing country. The land was not willing to be built up and revived by anyone – it waited for the Jewish people. Because that’s how G-d wanted it to be.
