How to Simply Win the Case for Israel
Of course there are many ways to fight against the lies and win the case for Israel. You can go through history and facts. You can bring people to Israel and show them archaeology. But one simple point is just that the Jewish people and Israel are good. And as Yishai Fleisher pointed out, he’s not saying they are perfect. But that doesn’t mean the people and the state are bad. We all have things to work on. But just look at reality. Jews do good and bring good to the world.
We don’t value murder and destruction like our enemies do. Quite the opposite, actually. We love peace. We love life. And we wouldn’t even need an army if it wasn’t for all of our vicious enemies who want to destroy our people and our land. But also as Fleisher said, “But yes, it’s also a Mitzvah (commandment) to hate evil and to fight evil. But to love goodness, and to be a force of goodness—that’s what the Jewish people want to do intrinsically.”
The simple truth is powerful. People sometimes need to just open their eyes to what’s right in front of them—to the reality. There is so much good that exists in the world because of the Jewish people. Technology, science, medical breakthroughs—you name it, the Jewish people have helped improve it. We want to do good. And we are working hard to fight against evil.
