The number of heroes that were revealed on that fateful day of the massive Arab invasion from Gaza on October 7th continues to come out, years later. Many of the greatest heroes did not survive the day. They repeatedly went back into the line of fire in order to save the lives of Jews who were being killed by Arabs who were driven by one thing – hatred of the Jewish people.
The Jewish people in the State of Israel who fought back did not become heroic overnight. They had been educated to care and fight for the people of Israel, the Land of Israel, and the State of Israel. All three were under attack on that day as they have been from the very beginning of the State of Israel. The hundreds of thousands of young and not-so-young Israeli men and women who fought on October 7th and in the years following October 7th know the one truth that has not changed for decades. Either we fight or they will annihilate us, just like the Nazis and their collaborators did during World War II. The only thing that has changed is the branding. Instead of swastikas, today it is red, white and green Islamic hatred.
Anyone who thinks otherwise simply believes that the Arab leadership in Gaza, Judea and Samaria, Qatar and Iran, are a bunch of liars. But the reality is that the Arabs have been consistent for decades at not hiding their true intentions. Only confused Western-minded liberal thinking people often persist in trying to fool themselves into separating the Hamas leadership from the Arab population in Gaza. Only confused Westerners think that Israel has a genuine partner to come to a peaceful solution of the Arab – Israel conflict with.
The Jewish people in the State of Israel are more unified today than at any other time in recent history. So are the Arabs in Gaza. They were unified before, during, and after October 7th in their intention to destroy the Jewish State. There is not one iota of evidence to assume otherwise. The Gazan Arabs deserve one thing and one thing only – a new home outside of the State of Israel – whether in Qatar, Sinai, Jordan, or some other country that helped sponsor the attack on the Jewish people.
The concept of a new and improved Gaza run by a “board of directors” run by President Trump is laughable at best. It is an idea that is an excellent example of an overconfident President thinking that somehow successful businessmen with the most powerful military in the world at board meetings can solve all conflicts in the world. It is one thing to perform a superb surgical takeout of a dictator in Venezuela. It is quite another thing to turn Jihadi supporting terrorists in Gaza to capitalists who will change their belief systems once they smell prosperity on the new eastern side of the Mediterranean Riviera.
When the pipedream bursts of a peaceful resolution in Gaza via a massive financial investment from wealthy countries, what will be left is a stronger and more unified State of Israel made of heroes who know why they are here and what they are fighting for.
