China is working on expanding it’s influence and control over other countries via it’s Roads and Belts Initiative. It is a very ambitious train and roadway investment that will allow China to have control over the flow of goods across borders and continents.
What Israel is doing inside of it’s own country is similarly massive in scope – but on a miniature scale. It does not span thousands of miles, but it is creating the infrastucture for Israel to continue expanding everything from transportation to massive water desalination and more. All of these major breakthroughs will ultimately serve as prototypes for other countries looking to modernize and grow despite having limited natural resources.
Anyone who has not been to Israel in more than a decade or two will not recognize some of the major advances that have taken place inside of Israel. Despite all of the modernization, Israel is known for having the most museums per capita or per square mile. This shows clearly that Israel is a country with a rich past and future. For those with a strong sense of history, this is often one of the greatest draws to the country.
