Are so many young Americans truly inclined to vote for Democrat candidates that are sharply angling towards socialist policies? The answer is yes. That is not just troubling. That is downright frightening. But perhaps this is a passing fad that will pass as they grow older? After all, doesn’t maturity bring with it wisdom? Not necessarily.
When six out of ten young Americans side with Hamas in a national poll, the ground underneath this country has shifted. What’s sickening is that this poll didn’t ask if they side with Gaza or the Palestinian people. It asked if they side with HAMAS. America needs to wake up. In five weeks, the Red-Green Alliance is sitting right on your midterm ballot. These DSA candidates will promise you cheaper gas, cheaper groceries, and rent relief. They are offering short-term economic relief while working to tear down the entire system. As Marxists always do. We need to look at who funds them. Who they stand with. What they really believe. Because gas prices can come down in a season. A country doesn’t come back in a season. If you stay home for the midterms, you hand them the keys. Get out and vote.

The combination of young people feeling the pinch from being caught between AI tech advances and widespread layoffs, growing gas prices, and a culture impacted greatly by messaging on Tik-Tok have brought things to a scary situation. Many young people have enormous mistrust of “the system” – as if their is some hidden force that is directing the advances in AI and boosting the interest on their student loans.
It is simply too enticing a political message for so many young people to be promised free handouts in the tens of thousands while taxing the billionaires to fund this. People who have learned economics from Tik-Tok videos and Instagram messaging will not be able to understand that socialist policies have only destroyed cities and neighborhoods – all over the world. The billionaires and wealthiest 1% are not the problem. They are the keys to success of any city or neighborhood along with the volunteers who bind people together with their sense of responsibility for helping others.
This is not mere trickle-down economics. It is simple math and logic. The United States of America is one of the easiest places for a billionaire to relocate in. New York City and Los Angeles are presently experiencing the early impact of multimillionaires relocating their businesses and homes. Real Estate tax income will be plummeting in these two States as demand drops to purchase homes. Business tax income dropping will be felt more gradually, but it will also downwardly spiral as socialist policies that even approach “seizing the means of production” will scare away anyone trying to profit from business. Basic municipal services will all be reduced to levels that create a mess of each of these once great cities.
A half of a generation is probably a lost cause. The new younger generation needs to be focused on more with an emphasis on educating through short messaging that can be communicated via succinct videos and experiences. PragerU is probably the most important entity doing this. Charlie Kirk was a true pioneer of this from the angle of political activism. There needs to be another 50 versions of PragerU – especially more culturally oriented – that succeed in reaching young people via comedy, simple logic, history, entertainment, and messages that spread light, hapiness, and responsibility. Otherwise, the downward spiral towards socialism will continue to tear apart the fabric of the entire Western world.
