There were so many important things that Victor David Hanson said here. He refuted the lies that the anti-Israel world spreads about Israel. But he also made important points about antisemitism. People are so focused on Israel and everything that Israel does. And even though Israel acts morally, they still get blamed for anything the Israel-haters can think of to blame them for. But what about those countries that actually are murdering their own people? What about those who have ethnically cleansed people of other ethnic groups, faiths, or religions? The anti-Israel world is dead silent. The Left is dead silent.
If these people really cared to help those being wrongly murdered and attacked, they would be protesting and doing what they can to help. But no—only if Israel is involved do these people make a scene. Only if they can somehow think of a way to blame the Jewish people or spread lies about the Jewish state will they choose to yell and shout. It’s pure Jew-hatred. And it’s horrific.
