Anyone who doesn’t see the connection between these events that are occurring today and the events of previous centuries has missed out on the lessons that must be learned from the past.
Perhaps the main attribute that Prime Minister Netanyahu has brought to Israel is the consistent focus on learning the lessons from the past when making decisions on how to grapple with present day challenges. Any time a foreign leader begins threatening to throw the Jews into the Sea or to destroy the Jewish people, Netanyahu reminds Israel and the rest of the world that we do not ignore the threats. We know that they are real and genuine. We believe our enemy’s intentions.
If we choose otherwise, we are choosing to live in a fantasy world that does not exist. The Jewish people have one home that is truly their own home. But the Jew-haters and many of the most powerful forces in the world have been joining forces to weaken and isolate the Jewish State. But this is a Time of Redemption. It is a different time and believing Jews all over the world know that the future in the Land of Israel will be bright no matter how isolated the Jewish people may seem at any given time.
The only question is who will be on the side of what is right, just, and true, and who will join up with the forces of evil and fight to destroy the Jewish people.
