Staff Sgt. Ido Baruch was shot to death in Shavei Shomron while guarding a protest march against the widening terror in the Shomron.
Baruch’s murder comes after another attack at the Shuafat checkpoint in Jerusalem killed another soldier – 18 Noa Lazar. More and more politicians across the political spectrum are decrying the spiraling security situation and the lack of resolve by the current government.
So far the security situation has not altered the polls. However, if Lapid and Gantz do not find a way to put a lid on it then the polls will not be friendly.
