Protests Continue To Spread In Iran Over Woman’s Death

Wide scale protests are continuing to spread in Iran over the death of a woman at the hands of Iran’s religious police for not fastening her hijab correctly.

Large scale protests have happened in Iran before. The Green Protests of 2009 threatened to finally topple the Ayatollahs. However, the protests never got the international support necessary. Barack Hussein Obama, never stood behind the Iranian people and the protests eventually died down.

While the hijab protests have the same potential, they will only be successful in toppling the Iranian regime if they get the kind of support the Green protests did not get. Unfortunately, the Biden administration appears to be repeating Obama’s approach.

Unless the hijab protest continues to gain steam, forcing the international community to provide aid – it will end just like the Green Protests.
