A law passed every five years, to extend Israeli Law to Area C of Judea and Samaria, just hit a snag. Not only did the leftwing members of Bennett’s coalition did not vote in favor, but the rightwing parties did not vote for it as well.

The question is why?

The rightwing views the current government as far more dangerous than any single bill. So the Likud opposition not only voted against, but a few people from Bennett’s coalition. While the ramification may be dire for the residents of Judea and Samaria, the bill’s downfall means that the Bennett-Abbas coalition appears o be cracking apart.

Israel’s political system appears to be ready for more elections as Justice Minister Saar threatens to take apart the coalition due to its dysfunctional situation.

All of the chaos appears to have frozen Biden’s potential visit as America wants to stay far away from Israel during an election.
