WhatsappThis is outrageous and a huge disgrace. These far-left protestors do not speak for American Jews. They speak for themselves, a segment of American Jewry that has lost connection with reality.
While one can disagree with the President’s policies, President Trump is the best President ever for the Jewish people and the Jewish State of Israel. To call him an antisemite or call him out for “endangering Jews” not only is not true, but actually endangers Jews! This protest gives ammunition to true Jew-haters to hate Jews even more, thinking that these Jewish activists represent American Jews. That is totally wrong. It is these protestors who are endangering American Jews, not President Trump.
It is the far-left that is ignoring the growing Jew-hatred from the growing number of sharia/jihadi Imams in the American Muslim community. It is the far-left that is ignoring the growing danger for Jewish students who support Israel on college campuses. Yes, there is Jew-hatred on the far-right as well, but it is not mainstream like the Jew-hatred on the left.
The sad thing is that those shootings by far-right Jew-haters wrote in their manifestos that they were attacking Jews because “the Jews” support left-wing policies like open borders and illegal immigrants, that are “destroying America/the European race”.
The Pittsburgh Tree of Life Synagogue shooter, Robert Bowers, posted on a social media account that “all Jews must die” and made a direct link between his hatred for the Jewish organization HIAS, that helps illegal immigrants, and his murderous attack on the Jews in the synagogue that just hosted a HIAS event.
Police officers said that after Bowers was arrested he said “that he wanted all Jews to die” and that “[Jews] were committing genocide to his people,” according to the criminal complaint.
The Poway shooter also wrote “Every Jew is responsible for the meticulously planned genocide of the European race.” Following the same far-right Jew-hatred based on Jews supporting left-wing policies.
Here are some of the actual reasons he listed for killing Jews:
“The Jews crimes are endless,” he says, and here are some of them:
- “For lying and deceiving the public through their exorbitant role in news media.
- “For their role in starting wars on a foundation of lies which have costed millions of lives throughout history.
- “For their role in cultural Marxism and communism.
- “For pushing degenerate propaganda in the form of entertainment.
- “For their role in feminism which has enslaved women in sin.
- “For causing many to fall into sin with their role in peddling pornography.
- “For their role in voting for and funding politicians and organizations who use mass immigration to displace the European race.
- “For promoting race mixing.
Each one of these issues he associates with the Jews has nothing to do with President Trump or his more conservative policies and his support for Israel. They are all left-wing issues that he is upset over, that he chooses to blame the Jews.
While these protestors are outraged at the growing antisemitism of the far-right, they are wrongly blaming President Trump. And even worse, they willfully ignore that most of the antisemitism in the USA today comes from the left, the community they are members of.
The Outrageous Jewish Protest
It has got to be one of the most ridiculous things a Jewish protest can be about. We can all have our own opinions, but let’s all admit some truths first.
Trump was in the middle of giving a talk at the annual Shale Insight conference on October 23. The conference was at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh. And then, members of a group called Bend the Arc: Jewish action came to protest. They were arrested.
In a statement, the protesters said that Trump was “not welcome in Pittsburgh.”
“You have spent a year emboldening white nationalists with your rants about invasions, loyalty, and savagery. You have spent a year claiming that immigrants and people of color are a threat, encouraging the conspiracy theory that Jewish people intend to “replace” white people through immigration,” they said.
“You have spent a year putting children in cages and tearing families apart. And you have spent a year accusing Black and brown people of antisemitism, when you are the one sowing fear amongst all of us for your own personal gain.
“Is it any wonder that the murders in our neighborhood were followed by more white nationalist murders in Poway, El Paso, and far beyond?”
Why it is so Absurd
Members of this group chanted, “Trump endangers Jews.” You can say a lot of things about President Trump. You can disagree with his values and his beliefs. And you can disagree with his politics. But President Trump does not endanger Jews. He has been the best president for the Jewish people and Israel. Everything that this group claimed is absurd. They are blaming all the world’s issues on the President. And everything they say is just not factual.
On top of everything, they are teaming up with the antisemitic, self-hating Jewish organization IfNotNow. Both these groups hate Israel and hate their own people. It is such a shame if anyone thinks they speak for all Jewish people. They most definitely do not.
