Outrageous: Antisemites featured on a panel about fighting antisemitism

by Leah Rosenberg

Fighting antisemitism is extremely important. But when extreme antisemites are the ones doing it, something is wrong.

Fighting Antisemitism

This is absolutely absurd. How can a panel about fighting antisemitism feature some of America’s worst antisemites? That is mockery.

Antisemitism is a serious issue in 2020. One would’ve hoped that after the Holocaust, there would be no more antisemitism. But unfortunately, that is far from the truth. Jews have been targeted for centuries. The antisemitism may be different depending on the time period, but at the end of the day, it is all the same. The hate for the Jewish nation. The physical and emotional harm that has been done. The attacks.

And sadly, the media has become a place for ultimate Jew-hatred. It is despicable. The fact that there are those in Congress who use social media to attack the Jews is terrifying. And then that people actually defend those Congresspeople and claim they are not antisemitic?

The Panel Combatting Antisemitism

The organizations who cosponsored the panel are antisemitic organization. Some, being Jewish organizations, are self-hating Jews. It is shameful that the people they chose for the panel support terrorism and the destruction of Israel. They support the BDS Movement. Rashida Tlaib minimized the Holocaust. Marc Lamont Hill was even fired from CNN – and CNN is not known to be the most pro-Israel network. Yet, he was too over the top for even them.

How dare these anti-semites be asked to speak on such a panel. How dare these organizations mock antisemitism and Jews.
