Melanie Phillips Will Always Admit What Others Are Too Afraid to Say Out Loud
Many know that What Melanie Phillips said here is true. But they are afraid to address the truth. And so, they just ignore it. And now, look what has happened to the West. But she said something that others have not said. Phillips said, “Palestinianism is the Islamist Trojan Horse. Because the ‘Palestine’ cause has become the default position for all Western progressives.”
Another extremely important point that Melanie Phillips addressed in her speech is the idea that truth no longer matters in this “post-Biblical world.” So many people don’t believe in truth. Everything is a matter of opinion—which is obviously not true. Some things are true, and some things are lies. There are things in this world that are black and white. She said, “But if there is no such thing as truth, then there are no such things as lies. So lies become unchallengeable. Because in this post-truth world, everything is a matter of opinion, and feelings trump facts.”
Internalize what this brilliant woman said. She said it all so well. Phillips framed everything in a way that just makes perfect sense. The way she talked about facts and truth vs. lies in the world we live in today explains the challenges we are facing. It explains why there are those people in the world who are so blind to the truth. Let’s hope we can wake some of them up…
