Many Democratic Representatives in the U.S. government will not defend Israel. Instead, they spread messages of hate, and they spread lies. Many of them would never respond to anti-Israel activists the way Rep. Ritchie Torres did.
It is such a breath of fresh air to hear a Democrat respond this way to those who yell out this false narrative about Israel. We need more people to stand up for the truth!
Israel may not be a perfect country, but it is definitely not committing a genocide against anyone. The facts prove it. And even though the Jewish state may not be perfect, Israel is still a free, democratic society. The country deserves to protect its citizens from the constant threat of enemies. We pray for the day when Israel no longer needs its missile defense system. But until then, the Iron Dome has saved countless lives. It is a DEFENSE system. Who would be against Israel defending its innocent civilians? Only those who hate the Jewish people and the Jewish state.
Some people might just be misinformed and need to learn the truth. Others don’t care about the truth. But the Jewish people are thankful for Representatives like Ritchie Torres who are willing to stand up for Israel and the truth even if they are being heckled by those who hate the Jewish people and their state.
