Are you in complete awe by all of this? There are so many parts to this story that are just mind-blowing. How can you not see G-d’s hands in the rescue of these two hostages and what happened beforehand with the Argentinian president? Every moment of this is remarkable.
We might not have prophets nowadays, but that doesn’t mean that G-d doesn’t speak to us. He still sends us messages – some are louder and clearer than others. If we just open our eyes and look around, we will see G-d’s hand constantly. And our lives will be changed for the better.
Nothing in this world happens by chance. G-d controls everything in our lives and in the world at large. Sometimes, we overlook everything and attribute things to “nature.” And sometimes, G-d makes things so, so clear that it reminds us that He in fact does control everything – including that “nature.” Take time to feel G-d’s presence. It’s most definitely there.
And in addition to that, it’s important to remember that our prayers matter. No prayer goes unanswered. We might not see exactly how our prayer was answered or the results immediately, but G-d takes everything into account. May all our hostages return home soon with their health. And may we see the completion of the final redemption speedily in our days!
