(JNS) Ellie Cohanim sat down with former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo at the Republican Jewish Coalition annual conference in Las Vegas to discuss why the United States should support Israel, the Iranian threat, the Biden administration’s foreign policy and more.

Mike Pompeo, the newer slender version, looks poised to run for the Presidency – either in 2024 or in 2028. He is arguably Israel’s best friend that Israel has ever had in the position of Secretary of State. Beforehand, his service as CIA Director exposed him to much of the inner workings of the Security and Defense Industry across the world. Here he clearly enunciates his thoughts that if the United States does not stand next to Israel in their battles against Iran, then the Israeli leadership not only has the right, but the duty to defend Israel’s national security.

As time goes along, the Abraham Accords, that was brokered via alot of well coordinated work from the side of Mike Pompeo, Jared Kushner, Sec. Mnuchin, and Ambassador Friedman, is turning into a major turning point for the entire Middle East. There is good reason to view Mike Pompeo as one of the best – if not the best – next alternative for leadership in the Republican Party. He has similar policy opinions as President Trump, without the bluster and character issues that plagued the Trump Presidency.
